Celebrating a Year

12.18.13The tree is decorated with ornaments old and new. Christmas is a holiday so full of lifelong traditions that we keenly miss those no longer here to be part of the celebration. And so I think longingly of my family and friends passed away, this year, this decade, even as I open the door to new faces in my world, and welcome P’s sons for dinner.

  1. Much has changed over the course of the last few years…friends and family that have passed and how that has changed the feel of the season.
