What the heck– snow in October!?! It come down all day, exceeding predictions by a few inches, although it’s warm enough to keep the roads bare. My bushes and trees are bent low under its weight, and with temperatures predicted to be well below freezing tonight, I am worried. Time spent shaking the branches gently so they can stand straighter and hopefully get through the deep freeze without loss of limbs.
