Celebrating a Year

My hydrangeas are out, their fragrance bringing back memories of childhood afternoons reading drowsily on my grandparents’ sun-drenched porch. My group convenes for one last practice before next week’s events, and we linger at a long lunch, catching up on our socializing as well.
