Celebrating a Year

9-10-16As is often the case, unplanned activities come off better than planned ones. The toy library is closed when we arrive, this street jazz festival turns out to be so much less than expected, although the roasted corn is super. The day’s best memories include the spirited duel of our spontaneously costumed werewolf and viking in a second-hand store as we run errands, the making and viewing of several “moonie-night” videos on my phone starring the tots, a wild drum session and quiet bedtime reading. After all, just being here is really the point.

  1. The being there is indeed the point…the rest is just window dressing.
