Celebrating a Year

7.12.16Today is the final teaching & coaching day with the student concert in the evening. My students are playing ensembles they have only been working on since Monday or Tuesday, but they all nearly nail their performances, skirting past a couple-note lapse here or there and recovering before the audience (of fellow students and teachers) is the wiser. And in the lovely way that amateur musicians have, they are absolutely delighted to have got through with grace, and appreciative for the help and advice given them. We will part tomorrow and return to our regularly scheduled lives, but for all of us, this has been a great week.

  1. Ah…must have been the excellent teaching that provided such skill to avert noticeable mistakes. :-)

    • Thanks– a necessary skill for any musician– carry on regardless!
