7.6.16A visit to a local historic site with the out-of-town relatives is on the books for today — fun even for me to see the mill machinery run by waterwheels and an original Eli Whitney cotton gin at work de-seeding balls of cotton. It gets up to 94 degrees– way hotter than usual for our New England– but it still cools off in the evening enough to sit out, chat and enjoy the breeze.
