Celebrating a Year

11.19.15The work week closes and holiday prep begins. Thanksgiving is simple and small this year, just P, B, and me @ B’s house, but friends will be visiting that week-end and so the attic-sorting process, that has brought boxes of randomly mixed, hurriedly packed contents from my move three years ago downstairs, has to be hastened along to clear the guest rooms of detritus so they can be used for their intended purpose. The collision of memories and decisions loads the sorting process up with far more psychological than physical work, and the piles of throw, give, relocate, recycle have grown slowly. A deadline clearly needed, I embrace this prod to clear the decks and the nostalgia and bring order to the inadvertent chaos.

  1. We all…I think…need that periodic push to change. :-)
