week 355 ~ some events have no reason or rhyme
some events have no reason or rhyme
yet we keep hoping to justify
life itself and the passage of time
forever needing mountains to climb
sure we’ll succeed though hard as we try
some events have no reason or rhyme
stuck behind glass futile pantomime
missing the moment as dreams float by
life itself and the passage of time
pawing through dull to release sublime
but the ephemeral’s quick to fly
some events have no reason or rhyme
we remake mistakes slipping past prime
until it’s too late to rectify
life itself and the passage of time
a wiley shape-shifting paradigm
demons and blessings that mystify
some events have no reason or rhyme
life itself and the passage of time
Seems like we all attempt to give meaning to random events in our life…as if there was some kind of script for life.
