Celebrating a Year

1.16.15I tuck away some funny moments from our stay, not the tourist postcard sights, but the small personal events that will make me smile when I pull them out back home and remember. Like this little bird who pecks at our kitchen window incessantly every morning. I have tried to get a photo of him from 1.17.15beyond the pane, but he always spooks and flies away, only to return when he thinks the coast is clear. Is it his reflection he sees? Apparently he got in once– the window next to him is wide open– and scared himself and our landlady before he was safely returned to outdoors. And graffiti everywhere– some crazy some cool, but all vibrantly colorful, allowing the walls to speak.

  1. I have a small bird who lands at the edge of my outside rear-view mirror on my car…and gets busy looking at itself several times a week…maybe just checking its appearance before heading off for the day. :-)
