Today I finally meet the students from my seminar– snowed out for its first meeting last week. Although the number signed in has swollen its ranks to such an extent that the name really seems like a misnomer. But all are accounted for, and most seem to have got my email and done their reading and the rest of the first week’s work. I do a fairly good job of combining two weeks of material into one, with just a few bits left over to stuff into next week. And so this late arrival is on its way at last.
Celebrating a Year 
Well…that must have taken some real effort to combined some much into a single class…really helps though if the students have done the reading.
