And here they are– the brave daffodils. The whole day seems to reflect their cheery optimism. In the evening I go with friends to see Tom Stoppard’s “The Real Thing” at a local theater. I saw it decades ago when it was nearly new, and it is interesting to watch it now from a totally different perspective. One quote I remembered, “I don’t think writers are sacred, but words are. They deserve respect. If you get the right ones in the right order, you can nudge the world a little”
