The last rose of summer… and I begin my annual photo quest to see how long our New England roses will persist this autumn. How long I will persist is another question. I feel like I have been bursting and pausing with this blog for quite some time now, as I’m sure you, my readers, have noticed. And I’m approaching the anniversary of my blog beginning, my birthday, October 16th. I’m completing 4 years. Big wow. But is it too much for me at present? But can I bear not to continue? I will be thinking about this for the next week. Contemplating…
Congrats on finishing 4 years of your blog! Best wishes on your contemplating for continuing the blog…

Time passes and we can’t quite believe how much we’ve produced, much less – in my case – that folks want to read it. It’s a joy and it’s wearing, but we’d miss it. I know how you feel. My solution was a hiatus of about two months. I hope you don’t leave us permanently. You would be missed, Marilynn.

I would miss this tiny daily thought that has added up to so many words at this point.
