As summer draws to a close I’m finally getting to the home fix-up chores I planned to accomplish back in my over-optimistic spring. I really do enjoy painting, patching plaster, seeing an obvious improvement right in front of me at the end of the day. As a teacher and musician I rarely get such immediate feed-back on progress. As a fixer-upper I work somewhat by trial and error, often going the long way round to get a good result, but there is an undeniable pleasure in seeing the improvement a bit of elbow grease can make no matter how long it takes to accomplish.
hard works ahead it seems!

Can be quite rewarding fixing those little and large items around the home…of course I almost always end the project with some minor injury..no matter how careful I am…but the job gets done…have fun doing your repairs.

Thank! Yes, injuries, usually small, are just a part of the process as far as I can see.
