Celebrating a Year

Yes, I finally make it– beach day! Indolent in its warmth and squint-prone brightness, it is a talisman of summers past and those to come. Walking on the sand w/ cane goes well but, on the advice on my friend N, I don’t venture into the water beyond ankle-deep, fearing my inability to get back in to shore and up on my feet without injury. On the way home we stop at self-service vegetable and blueberry stands, taking fresh produce and leaving payment in unmanned coffee cans. It all seems so timeless.

  1. Isn’t it wonderful to find such timeless places? A glimmer of hope in a sea of despair…okay a bit dramatic…but you know what I mean. ;-)
