Celebrating a Year

It’s incredibly warm for fall, and sunny enough to dry out my soggy eastern blues. The day is full of small moments of joy and fun, and I find myself humming cheerfully.  At one point, sitting on the front steps waiting for a friend to pick me up to go to lunch, I just lay back and grin in amazement at the intensity of blue sky filtering through green leaves. Blue skies smiling for me… a happy day.

  1. I love it when someone lives in this moment, finding the beauty and joy that live here just waiting to be found. It is so much better than “if only” and the never-ending rush toward tomorrow, lugging the mistaken belief that it’s there that happiness will be found.

You make me smile. Thank you!

  3. Ah..it is so true…beauty is where you are…not where you’ve been or where you’re going. ;-)
