Celebrating a Year

October 6, 2010

It’s been raining here for days. Raining and cold and everyone’s shoes are wet. We squelch about heads down intent on getting to the door before the wind blows our umbrellas inside out. Crumpled wet papers are passed in and everyone’s sniffling already. I keep reminding myself that I really do like October.

  1. Hey…in sunny California…it’s been raining too…feels like winter instead of fall…but not as much rain as you appear to be having. ;-)

    • I’m going to Minneapolis tomorrow & Seattle on Tuesday, but it doesn’t look from the forecast that I’ll be any drier.

  4. I’m in No. Cal (Charles in So. Cal), and we have had an ugly heatwave. Cooling a bit … I’d love some of your rain… Another interesting photo. You do have a gift for capturing them… Thanks for posting.
