heart full of wonder
which way lies dreaming
clouds pull me under
heart full of wonder
what time will thunder
send the rains teeming
heart full of wonder
which way lies dreaming

  3. This was lovely! All of these make me wonder – clouds, thunder, rains, dreams…
So simply and beautifully put… it was childlike – the innocence in this poem.. . It added to the charm…

I have some lovely August Awards for you… please feel free to accept as many as you like, and if you like…
    Thanks..

  4. These symbols – so universal – wonder and dreaming. Isn’t that the inspiration for poets, keeping it fresh, stretching our imaginations? I enjoyed this. Good read. Thank you.

  5. Like how you follow the word wonder with questioning words in the following lines, cool effect when the lines merge seemlessly (if read without pause). Reads very well line by line too. Applaud your use of form. cheers

  7. I love how you can use so many different styles of poetry MM.
“Heart full of wonder” I like this simple almost child-like phrase that grows with each repetition
