Celebrating a Year

week 72 ~ I am so tired time crawls by

with 14 comments

I am so tired time crawls by
taking every ounce of my strength
with it I am tied to the length-
ening shadows by a small sigh
that drools from the corner of my
mouth weariness overcomes all
but obligation worries call
my name so close to sleep nothing
should be able to stop it bring
down night’s curtain please let me fall

  4. Good God.. this poem really made me feel like the character in it was super tired! And all they wanted was some (just some) rest…
