Celebrating a Year

The morning is full of painters, plasterers, carpenters, cleaning help, and then I flee to the train station to pick up Luiz. We drive straight down to school to rehearse for tomorrow on the piano in my classroom, and then to my friends’ house where he will stay. They, in great kindness, have prepared a delicious dinner and have friends over too, so we all eat, chat, laugh, and I slowly feel myself relax. Home to inspect the work of the day– truly impressive– and fall into bed, looking forward to the recording session and concert tomorrow.

  1. I’m tired just thinking about your schedule…but it does sound exciting.

  2. A lot of work going on here as well; but, no recording and concert just some good stuff on the classical station.

Glad your home repairs went well and you are having a good time. Glad to be here catching up again too!

    Happy days, Marilynn! ;-)
