I wake early and after a leisurely breakfast make my farewells and head for home. So much awaits me there– good, bad, hectic. Traffic is light and I’m back by early afternoon, preparing beds for the impending Brazilians, going over plans for repairs w/ my erstwhile handyman, leaving messages, leaving things half done as new ideas and worries distract me. There is too much to think about, too many things I have to delegate or figure out. It’s best to move one step at a time, because looking too far ahead causes the world to spin and all the decisions swirl together. I take several deep breaths and some time outs, and by the end of the day I am satisfied that my random progress has indeed moved me along toward my goal. So much awaits.
