Celebrating a Year

This is the day I need to leap out of teaching mode mid-session and descend in the guise of concert artist for the evening. It’s hard to get the brain space clear to open up the performer in me while working to be in every student sussing out what can make their musical journey better. And I just get a couple of hours to switch gears. But my group has arrived from home and the music weaves us together again. The concert is all I could hope for. And the after-party rocks. So happy.

  1. Does every artist now have after-parties? I should have continued with my singing lessons. :-)

    • The quick change is perilous and has failed in the past so it’s always a relief when it works out.

    • One has so much pent up adrenalin after a concert, it’s almost necessary.
