Pieces of the puzzle– enticing, but in the end it’s not enough reason to unpack your suitcase and stay. Once, I remember, things arrived whole and durable, made for the long term. Now there’s just a fragment of a missing picture in the palm of my hand. Tempting to extrapolate, but to what end? When no outcome’s imaginable, there’s no reason to continue imagining.

very true, sometimes some puzzles dont give you enough reason to smile, shrug and stay.
