A music rehearsal and my friends pitch in afterwards to weed, trim, mow, and prune my shaggy yard and garden, all things outside my capability for the moment, crutch in hand. It is so hard to be unable to do things around the house, embarrassing even. But I am learning to ask for help, to juggle things along at a fairly even keel, and to accept what is and let it be enough.

The flowers are gorgeous! Enjoy your temporary inability. Soon you will be back doing everything. I know it’s hard to wait for others to do what you are used to doing for yourself. :) Blessings to you, Marilyn…

Yes, I am trying to slow down and not fret.

It has always amazed me that we are taught to be ‘independent’ …yet almost every aspect of live requires cooperation and assistance of others.

Accept what is and let it be enough. Amen. I like that.

This whole process has been and continues to be an exercise in patience.
